General Dentistry
Helping our patients maintain a healthy mouth and smile is the main goal of general dentistry. We prefer to provide more minor, preventive care than to see patients suffer with more intensive treatments from a problem that was not managed in time. We want to ensure that your oral health is in its optimal state and positively contributing to the health of your entire body. We are here to brighten your smile and pave the way for a brighter life.
Cosmetic Dentistry
A beautiful smile is one of the most sought after cosmetic features in the world. People from all backgrounds and professions want a bright, straight smile, and we are here to help turn that desire into reality. Whether through minor adjustments or major treatment plans, our cosmetic dentistry practice aims to improve your smile and help you build confidence in the way your teeth look.
Restorative Dentistry
Swinney Morton Dental is committed to offering a full range of dentistry services. Whether you’ve had repairs or need a complete replacement, we recommend continual check-ups to assess your gums and bone density to assess the surrounding areas associated with your implant.
Pediatric Dentistry
Our dentists and entire staff understand the importance of good oral health for young children. They have specialized training in primary teeth. They are here to help protect and restore children’s teeth so that they can speak and eat easily and have a wonderful smile. They understand the growth and development of children’s teeth so they can start children off with good oral health.
We also understand how important taking care of children’s teeth is. We will work with parents to ensure their children are taking good care of their teeth at home. We will also monitor their mouths for any problems so we can catch them early. If needed, we will work with your children’s regular doctor to treat any problems we find.

Emergency Dentistry
Accidents and dental emergencies can happen at any time, and we are here and always ready to help. You can save valuable time and unnecessary stress by communicating any risks, hobbies, or sports you may be engaging in with your dentist at Swinney Morton Dental so we can best equip you with the gear and knowledge you need to stay safe. Knowing exactly what to do in an accident or sports injury can be the difference between losing and saving a tooth.
Remember to save our number in your phone and have it readily available in case of an emergency. If one should happen, we are just a phone call away.
In an emergency, contact our office right away. If you lose a permanent tooth, try to keep it moist while you get to the dentist. You can try placing it back into the socket if that is not painful, or between your cheek and gums. If that is not possible, placing it in milk can greatly improve the chances of saving the tooth.
What do I do if I crack a tooth?
If you crack a tooth or bite your tongue or lip, rinse your mouth with warm water and apply a cold compress to reduce the swelling. For toothaches or objects stuck in your mouth or between teeth, gently floss to clean the area and remove any debris. Do not put aspirin on your teeth or gums, and never use a sharp object on your teeth.
Wearing a mouthguard during physical activity will help protect your teeth. By avoiding chewing on tough foods like ice, popcorn kernels, or hard candy, you can greatly reduce the chances of cracking a tooth. Combined with these preventive efforts and refraining from cutting or tearing objects with your teeth, you can minimize your risk of a dental emergency.
